From reel of paper to finished box
Our processes blend quality and precision at every stage to ensure each product meets the highest standards. From initial design concept to finished box, we prioritise excellence at every step to deliver packaging that surpasses your expectations.
CAD Design
In our dedicated design room we have CAD design software, which enables us to turn your requirements into a detailed CAD diagram. Our state of the art Zund sample cutting machine then allows us to produce a sample of your box in any strength board required. This allows you to fit your product, trial on your assembly line, configure load quantities, check for strength and much more.
Corrugator
Our BHS Quality line corrugator stands as the cornerstone of CavanBox’s operations. CavanBox have the freedom to combine a myriad of papers, empowering us to deliver customised solutions that excel in strength, durability, printability and performance. Capable of producing 300 linear meters of board per minute, our corrugator could make enough board to circle the earth in under 93 days.
Casemaking
Our cutting edge casemakers are equipped with advanced technology ensuring impeccable accuracy and versatility in casemaking. We have two casemakers standing side by side, one for large cases and the other for small cases, meaning we have all size cases covered. Both can print up to 3 colours and have rotary die cutting capabilities. With automatic conveyors straight from our corrugator to our casemakers we optimise throughput and food hygiene practices.
High Quality Printing
CavanBox’s high quality printing capabilities are in the hands of our Celmacch chroma print. Capable of printing up to 4 colours and a varnish layer, this machine enables us to produce some of the finest printed boxes in the market. Adjacent to our printer stands our ink kitchen which automatically combines base inks to produce any pantone colour you desire. The automatic nature of the ink kitchen ensures swift and accurate colour matching.
Die Cutting
Our factory is equipped with two Asahi flat bed die cutters. These state of the art machines are capable of producing the most detailed die cut boxes with unparalleled accuracy. Renowned for their precision and reliability our die cutters enable us to meet the diverse needs of customers.
Multi-Point Gluing
In our factory we boast the precision and efficiency of two Vega multi-point gluers running seamlessly side by side. These advanced machines are specifically designed for folding and gluing cardboard packaging ensuring you get a neat ready to use box. Folding and gluing everything from your 4 point glued lid to your pop up crashlock box, these machines maximise throughput and versatility to meet your needs.
Own Transport
At CavanBox we take pride in the range of services we provide ourselves, including our own transport and fleet of lorries. This service ensures we have full control over the logistics process, allowing us to prioritise reliability and efficiency for our customers.
